Asif Ali-Nitya Menon in Sibi Malayil’s next
Asif Ali and Nitya Menon.Asif Ali and Nitya Menon are playing the lead roles in veteran filmmaker Sibi Malayil’s latest project Violin.
The director, who is known for working with senior actors, had changed tracks with his last film, Apoorva Ragam wherein he had cast new generation actors like Asif Ali, Nishan and Nitya Menon. Asif Ali, who made his debut with the Shyamaprasad-directed Rithu, was seen in Katha Thudarunnu, Apoorva Ragam and Best of Luck. Nitya Menon, who made an impressive debut with the Mohanlal-starrer Akashagopuram, has done films likeKerala Café, Vellathooval, Angel John and Apoorva Ragam.
Nedumudi Venu, Biju Menon, Shammi Thilakan, Chembil Ashokan, KPAC Lalitha comprise the rest of the cast of Violin.
The film’s muhurat was held recently in Kochi. It is produced under the banner of IOPL Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Viju Ramachandran has scripted the movie, while Manoj Pillai is the cinematographer.
