Salt n’Pepper-Mythili gets chatting



We got to chat with lady gorgeous Mythili of Palerimanikyam fame about her upcoming movie Salt n Pepper directed by Ashique Abu who made his mark with the film Daddy Cool. The beauty from Pathanamthitta district told us that her entry to movies was through modeling beginning with Medimix. Her modeling stint she told us, caught the eye of ace director Renjith leading to Palerimanikyam and how the seniors artists made her comfortable. We then chatted about her upcoming movie about which we were eager to know more and she said that her character was named Meenakshi an ambitious student studying IELTS who pursued dreams of hoping to Canada. Her obsession with Canada she said provides a comic touch with her talking interspersed with English more than needed. A character imbibing all the essence of today’s youth she said it was lively and of course with romance thrown in . She is a paying guest at Shewtha Menon’s residence and Shewatha Menon she told us is more like a friend in the movie. Asif Ali plays the male lead and she was good words for the energetic crew especially director Ashique Abu.

We then moved to her interests and being a movie revolving around food we asked her favourite ,she said she liked fried chicken and that she loved cooking where her chicken curries have received rave reviews. Her upcoming projects include Kanakombathu by Madhu Muttom . She said that her schedule with Salt and Pepper will draw close by March 1. We prodded further about her characters so far and she did not hide her disappointment in not being offered good roles beyond Palerimanikyam. The conversation ended with we wishing her success ahead and for graciously accepting to our interview.
